It’s ironic that many come to Buddhism, non-duality, because they think their minds need a place to rest. Rest forever. Rest forever in the Self, for example. I don’t think it works that way. The body is constantly looking for equilibrium. It would not survive if it did not. As with the body, the mind will always be stirred up. This is more about pure acceptance. Pure free-fall, as phenomena rise and fall.

My neighbor, who was also a/my chiropractor at a time I fell and died then came back, used to say, “The body wants to fix itself. It always wants to come back to balance.” As a result, before I do anything to intellectually fix a problem, I ask my body first. It’s usually right.
